Wolverine’s Japanese inspired artwork

The Wolverine is part of the X-Men film series and once again stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The events take place after X-Men: The Last Stand where Logan was forced to kill his love Jean Grey to save the world. It has haunted him for some time. Back in 1945, when Logan was a solider during WWII, he saved a Japanese military officer during the bombing of Nagasaki. In present time, that officer is dying of cancer and asks for Logan to visit Japan to repay the debt. The man wants to take Logan’s healing factor so he could recover from cancer and Logan could stop being immortal, something he himself sees as curse. After denying the offer, his healing factor is blocked by a toxin injected into his body. Logan’s then forced to fight a bunch of samurai without his healing capabilities.

Imagine controlling your very own Kaiju

Think Godzilla meets indie romantic comedy. Colossalstarring Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis, and directed by Nacho Vigalondo, follows Gloria (Anne Hathaway) through her mental breakdown after losing her job and getting dumped by her boyfriend in New York City. She moves back home to her hometown in Upstate New York and catches up with her friend Oscar (Jason Sudeikis). After news that a giant monster (Kaiju – Japanese for strange beast) has appeared in Seoul, South Korea and is destroying the place, Gloria realizes she’s more connected to the incident than she thought. She can actually control the monster from the other side of the world. Didn’t see that one coming.
