10 Minimalist Marvel posters created by Marko Manev

Going off of last week’s post of celebrating unofficial movie posters that are awesome, we at Reel Design stumbled upon a series of minimalist Marvel posters created by Marko Manev, a mix-media artist, graphic designer, illustrator, and all-around badass creator from Skopje, Macedonia.

Marko’s minimalist posters take iconic Marvel character’s and reduces them to symbols associated with the character. Characters include members of the Avengers, the X-men, and the Inhumans. It’s really beautiful stuff, to be honest.

Here are our favorite 10:

Spider-Man comes home via the BQE

SPIDER-MAN IS FINALLY BACK HOME! And I’m not just talking back to Queens, but back to Marvel Studios (suck it Sony.) In a way, the title, Spider-Man: Homecoming is a reference to Marvel Studios placing Peter Parker, this time played by Tom Holland, into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Where he belongs.

After some success in the beginning of the 2000’s, with Tobey Maguire playing the Web-Head in three films, the franchise died with Spider-Man 3 in 2007. I blame Topher Grace. The franchise was rebooted in 2012 as The Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield wearing the tights. That crash and burned after two films.
